Having been an event manager and promoter for over 15 years, his worldwide event agency CLOSURE, which has seen him working with some of the most prestigious labels and artists in the world, is already reaching its 10th anniversary. To celebrate they will be hosting epic events featuring huge artists during all of the season at Barcelona’s LaTerrrazza, where he has been resident and event management for 13 years. While busy in the background with labels such as RUMORS, KOMPAKT, Lost & Found, The Soundgarden, Hippie Dance and Sudbeat & much more, his role as a DJ and producer continues its upward trajectory through his distinctive style which blends genres in a unique and mindful fashion. Having tracks released on Hope Recordings and Global Underground, Nicko’s music was also included on GU's TWENTY Compilation album. He was recently featured for the second time on John Digweed’s Transitions, and was invited to create a Balance Series Selection mix this Summer. By combining an understanding of the underground industry with an innate connection to the music itself, Nicko Izzo’s variety of work across the scene puts him in a unique place to make an impact on its future.
