- Nico Kohler is a Techno producer from Scotland, with many releases under his belt already the Techno revolution has well and truly started!!!!!!Nico Kohler. Fascinated with electronic music from a very tender age of 10, Collected mixtapes and vinyl which would soon help him kickstart his 15 year journey into mixing and producing music. Purchasing his first set of turntables in the year 2000 at only aged 16, spent the next 4 years experimenting with various genres which include House, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass, Hardcore & gabber before settling with Trance and his beloved Techno. Over the next decade, Nico under the alias 'Nicki p' performed at venues all over Scotland and northern England. Holding many residencies at some of the best nightclubs and partys where he had the opportunity to mix along side major artists such as 'Axel Karakasis, Scott Project, Mark sherry, Kuffdam, Mallorca Lee, DJ Thera, Anne savage, Lisa Pin Up, Neophyte, Slipmatt, DJ Vibes, Scott Brown, Weapon x, and Human resource to name a few. During the year of '2012' Nico decided to stop djing and concentrate more on producing & experimenting with different software. Defining his style of Energetic progressive dark percussive Techno. His production skills soon caught the eye of 'General Surgery Records' where his first two 3 track eps were released. October and December 2014, and 2 more eps due for release early April and May 2015. Respectivly, the offers started flooding in which seen another 2 eps signed with Italian Label 'Subwoofer Records' due for release late March and April 2015. Another 2 eps with Croation label Noisy Room Records due for releases March 2015 and May 2015 with alot more to come from this young talented producer. Remix work is now in high demand completing remixes for DaGeneral & Felo Rueda (General-Surgery), Allan Snowden (1809 Records), Duel force & Fabio MC (Technodrome Records), The ID (Dark Noise Records), DJ Ogi (Techno Factory Records) and Paralytic (Technodrome Records) with loads more still to be announced. Nico is gaining global support with his track from: Luke Slater, Anderson Noise, Leon Blaq, Roger Sanchez, Fernanda Martins, Hellboy, D-Formation, Hot Pink Delorean, Scott La Rock, Marco Carola, Rodd Sim, Joshua McAllister, Richie Hawtin, Angelo Posito, Timm Hines, DJ Ogi, Anthony Pappa, Eva Novoa, Matt Handy, Ed ET, Steve Lawler, John Vaughan, Dual Fuel, and Michael Krunk.
