Biografía

  • If the future is uncertain for us all, the future is surely exciting for this up-and-coming artist and dj.
Authenticity comes in one form and is the foundation for every thought, sound and aesthetic for which Noah Gibson works with. The other is his risk-taking side, trying out a different-thinking record, sound or project of which share his sense of authenticity. This ambition has led to the creation of the most original club and rave experience in Stockholm for the last 20 years, The Office, which Noah Gibson is one of the original founding members. The Office was co-founded in 2007 and shut its doors in 2013, at the height of its popularity and success. Taking another risky shot meant that when Under Bron opened in 2010 within the Trädgården compound (one of the largest night and day clubs in Sweden) as a more refined and underground-oriented outlet, he agreed to become one of the few original resident dj's. During the club’s rise and peak of popularity, the residency ended in 2014, after monthly slots for the past four years with sporadic sets on special occasions (last time was in 2017 together with Marcel Dettmann). The quest for authenticity continued in 2014, when he co-founded (together with long-time friend Henrik Bergqvist) the record label Trouble In Paradise and in conjunction the artist project HBNG. Maturing into his own productions, Trouble In Paradise was put on hold in 2017, the year when Marcel Dettmann affirmed Noah Gibson’s music with a release on the well-curated Marcel Dettmann Records. During the same year, Noah Gibson took a break from dj:ing to focus on his own Krasch Records and family, risking everything yet again. In 2018, the first Krasch Records release will come out, following an experimental various styled EP from 2016 and is the first move in what seems to become his best year yet. If the future is uncertain for us all, the future is surely exciting for this up-and-coming artist and dj.
