- Nori is a Japanese electronic music webzine writer/editor and DJ based in Amsterdam. His first released as Techno duo NOS (with So Oishi) in December 2018 on Hamburg-based imprint Snork Enterprises.Nori aka Norihiko Kawai selects. On the floor he plays, space is created in which you step into his world of mystic symbolism and spiritual layers in abstract storytelling. His music doesn't need words. It speaks for itself in a universal language. These are deep and more than just a piece of selecting music. After 20 years of his career as a DJ, editor/writer for music media, and organizer in Tokyo, He moved to Amsterdam in 2015. Because of his keen eye for music cultivated through his career, He has established trust with many labels and agents around Europe then the latest trucks including ‘hidden gems’ have been gathering into his hand. Nori was Resident DJ at Club Air, Loop Aoyama, Nagisa Music Festival, and Bar Bonobo in Tokyo before 2015. Nori has beeing played along with many Japanese legends. He is part of the Electronic music duo NOS, Their released 2trax on Snork Enterprises Records in 2018.̸In 2011, Nori was planned and compiled few tracks for the D/L charity compilation project "JAPANEASE" with wordandsound (GER).
