With over a decade-long experiance as a Resident DJ at the esteemed Nordstern club in Basel (Switzerland), he has shared the stage with Artists like Damian Lazarus, Acid Pauli, Tim Green, Lee Burridge, Dixon, Ame, Solomun, just to name a few. His debut EP, launched under the acclaimed label of genre luminary Acid Pauli (Ouïe Circle), achieved the notable position of number #5 in the Top 100 Afro House releases on Beatport. Olivan has further solidified his reputation through releases on other well-established labels including Sounds of Khemit, Akbal Music, Buddha Bar, and Bunte Kuh. Olivan has not only left a significant mark on the local scene in Switzerland, especially Basel and Zurich but has also graced several international stages. Olivan is currently in an exciting phase of his career. He is continuing his artistic development and exploring new ways to present his musical vision in a more intimate setting - close to the audience. While many DJs are getting faster and faster, Olivan wants to move into slower sets. He believes that this approach allows him to convey a greater depth of emotion. Therefore, he packs his years of experience as a resident DJ into his backpack and sets off into new spheres and adventures. Planned releases include exciting new productions, with remixes for artists such as Dan Bay and Fabiann Krooss. Additionally, a solo vinyl EP on the Basel-based label Bunte Kuh is on the horizon for the summer of 2024, enriched by a remixes from New York DJ and producer Nhii and Basel buddy Dandara.
