  • Paul Kendall is a composer, producer and visual artist, primarily known as a sound engineer, mixer, mainly through his extensive career at Mute Records and his collaborations with Alan Wilder of Recoil.
    Kendall has, over the course of the last quarter of a century, collaborated on a number of interesting, experimental projects that have seen him release music under a variety of guises, perhaps most notable are the records released by The Parallel Series, a sub-label of Mute set up by Kendall in the ealy 1990s. These include the albums ‘Displaced Links’ by Kendall Turner Overdrive (a collaboration with Simon Fisher Turner) ‘Orr’ by Gilbert/Hampson/Kendall (a collaboration with Bruce Gilbert (Wire) and Robert Hampson (Main)) and ‘The Faulty Caress’ by Piquet. As well as his own recorded output Kendall has worked as a producer for artists like Nitzer Ebb, Recoil and Depeche Mode among many others.
