Biografía
- Paul Spymania has been a DJ and record collector for over 30 years.Starting in Zoom Records in Camden in 1993 he has since worked in countless record stores including Rough Trade, Atlas Records and Sister Ray. On the Spymania label, he and his partner (Hardy Spymania) released innovative electronic music from MDK, Squarepusher, HYPO and Jamie Lidell in the 1990s. In Brighton in the early 2000s Paul started another record label called Massive Advance and released the debut album from Fujiya & Miyagi. Later, in Berlin, he co-promoted and DJed at his own night, SUB:STANCE alongside Scuba. The bass-heavy parties ran from 2008-13 at the legendary Berghain / Panorama Bar, and also took place in Amsterdam, New York and London.
