Biografía
- Perros Disquería / Chez Doc Records — BCN.Perro Jimbo is an Italian-Spanish artist. Formerly but still dedicated rapper and song-writer, he actively participates for many years within Bologna's underground hip-hop and clubbing scene by joining Homequest, crew and label dedicated to house and hip-hop productions with which he signs several features and releases singles within compilations. He then became an active collaborator of DJ Rou in Archivio180, Bologna’s vibrant record store and creative hub. In 2019 Jimbo's first solo EP, Passion Light, was released by the Californian label Lips & Rhythm - a catchy hip-hop / R’n’B EP released only on 7 “vinyl. Then, forward in December, launched his first solo album: "Ain't Eazee", a project that maintains its roots in the most classic hip-hop, both Italian and American, and also into breaks, soul, R’n’B. Leaving Bologna for good, Perro Jimbo moved to Barcelona, where in June 2021 founds Perros Mediteránneos, record store and cultural bar settled in Sant Antoni neighbourhood. Through a pure dedication to records' digging since day one, his ability as DJ behind turntables can vary from genre to genre, still maintaining a steady deep wave on break-to-break dreamy flow — aiming to drive in a chameleonic way through dancefloor trips.
