- Paola Cañon (aka. POLINNE MOTH) is a Dj/Producer from Bogotá, Colombia.Paola Cañon (aka. POLINNE MOTH) is a Dj/Producer from Bogotá, Colombia. Best known for her work as half of the duo “Unknown_Yet”, her beginings in the underground music circuit go back to 2012 when the duo started spining at local clubs. She rapidly established herself and earned residencies at Baum and Video Club. Two of South America´s most influential clubs. The following years she toured several times throughout America and Europe and made it to hundreds of diferents venues ranging from Sisyphos in Berlin to Fesitival Estereo Picnic and Baum Festival, the largest music events in Colombia. In early 2017 she launched her solo project and subsequently moved to San Francisco, California where her influences of house, deep techno and minimal found her a place in the Bay Area scene, spinning arround local clubs and singing an EP with the San Francisco label Lips and Rhythm. She loads her productions with deep lush synths, busy percussions, and lots of groove. The same can be said for her sets, following an agnostic style of deep groovy beats that keep you moving. She’s currently working on her new label Discos Veneno, and the first delivery set for mid 2019 is a co-lab with his partner Bruno Anthony from Downpitch Recordings. Polinne also delivered an EP for the local label Páramo Discos at the beginning of this year.
