- Primary substance is a Russian musical project, founded in 2010 in St. Petersburg by a musician, rapper and sound designer Alexey Semenov.Aleksey Semenov is known as the creator of several dance and experimental music projects (Don'ttouchmebitch!, Russian outskirts, Harakiri MC, there were) and member of a number of different projects and associations in St. Petersburg and beyond. He took part in major European and Russian festivals and created bright performances and unusual collaborations. “The concept of music for me is more than creating tracks for electronic dance industry in accordance with its rules and genre laws. My creative tasks always involve new research. Whether it is the implementation of subjective mental content and abstractions like momentary mood in a specific sound form, or purely technical processes from the field of sound design.
