- Progressive Thrust is an Egyptian born Uk based international electronic music DJ/Producer most known for his productions, unique live sets, live remixing and playing the longest nonstop dj set in history for 176 hours using more than 1400 tracks!From New York to Russia, Dubai to Spain, Egypt to Scotland his tech-progressive and electro house sound which can only be described as very deep, often dark and always sexy makes the crowds sweat every time. As well producing original tracks and remixing the likes of Madonna , Daft Punk and The Prodigy he has graced the stage alongside fellow international DJs Lisa Lashes, Armin Van Buuren, Sasha, John Digweed, Deep Dish, Hernan Cattaneo , Paul Van Dyk, Timo Mass, Marco V, Wally Lopez and Tiesto to name but a few. Progressive Thrust and the world’s no. 22 on DJ Magazine Ali & Fila are Egypt’s only international DJs. His residency with Fashion TV, award winning radio show in Dubai, live remixing & unique performance, productions, playing the longest nonstop Dj set in history for 176 hours without repeating the same track twice! and touring with brands like Ministry Of Sound, Renaissance, Progression and Space cemented his reputation as one of the best names in the international underground house music scene today. At the age of 12, his father noticed his madness towards music and bought him his first kit for his birthday which was just 2 turntables & a 2 channel mixer , for the little kid that was the world's greatest gift! and his start, at that point he became the official young DJ for all his school parties, then moved on to take over all the school & house parties in the city. As he reached the age of 21 he was already rocking night clubs, bars, raves & all dance events . residencies at huge clubs were offerd and it was a turning point for him as it gave him the chance to meet the biggest names in the industry and perform infront of large crowds on regular basis. From touring around the Middle East to fly as far as Canada, U.S.A, Africa, Europe, Asia & Australia to spin at venues from 500 capacity all the way to 160,000 capacity open air festivals. He has more than 16 years of club experience playing many famous international clubs and club nights around the world such as Renaissance,Progression, Ministry of Sound, Pure, Thrust, Peppermint, Chi, The Lodge, Ibo, Oxygin, Lotus one, Cheos,Enigma, Avalon,Pacha, Space, Little Budha,Amnesia, Previlige, Defected in the house, In bed with Space, Club 69, Factory, Passion, Rush, Mase, Touch and many more! '' I find it amaizing that no matter where i go , and no matter how big the club is , the crowds still react the same to the music, its like there are no more differences in religion , language or race any more , and music is the only language we all understand..'' '' when i heard Carl Cox for the first time, i was with my family in a house next to the gig on the beach, i was just a kid , i was too young to go to the party, but i was able to see and hear him, he took my breath away, every thing he did was amaizing to me.. and from that moment i relised that my biggest dream was to be a dj '' 2008 was a big move for him as he settled in Scotland with his family. 2 weeks later he was back on the decks at the union in Dundee. in less than 2 years he was playing the biggest clubs and nights in Scotland, won the Social Dj competition with Wave 102 radio and continues to rock it where ever he goes. His love for music didnt stop at bieng a dj.. in 2004 he remixed a track for the Prodigy '' Magic People '' into progressive house , then he remixed alot of tracks from house and other genres into house and were well appreciated even thou they were never released. a year later remixing didnt seem to be enough for him as he was more intrested in producing his own original tracks. progressive house was always the main path for him then he moved on to deep,tech house and techno aswell . in 2006 his remixes of the Prodigy's '' Outter Space '' and Ame's '' Rej '' were rocking, and his original '' Take Me Higher '' was a massive hit in the Middle east & Eastern Europe. 2011 was a really big year for him, 2 collaborations with Dj Chuggs '' Untitled Chords '' & '' From Dusk Till Dawn'' on Opto Records and a fully produced house music Album '' Egyptian Noize '' on Underground Superstars which includes the tracks '' Deep '' , I'll House You'' , '' Secrets'', '' Egyptian Soul'' , '' Dreams'', '' Sinai '' , '' Melody'', '' Hurgada '' , '' Heliopolis'' and '' Yeah '' . Watch out in 2012 for his techno EP '' Splinter In Your Mind'' on Underground Superstars feat 3 tracks '' Splinter In Your Mind '' , '' Brain Bug '' and '' Cranium '' out on 05/01/2012 along with 4 more EPs due for release in the follwing months. His rigorous work ethic and uncompromised love for music has afforded him the time to both tour the world weekly and have a prolific production career.
