- One of the leading figure of Electro in North of France, party promoter for 5 years with his association Dviason, resident at famous Kiosk Club in Lille, part of N.A.M.E Festival through dj residency & web promotion. PussySelektor played in major event..Living in Lille-France, Benoit Mascot aka PussySelektor grew up in the middle of sounds from The Beatles to Depeche Mode via Kraftwerk. With its strong rock & pop education, at the beginning of the 90s, he has drown with delightness and fury into electronic sounds & clubbing. After touring as a fervent clubber in the best european clubs and becoming a vinyl junk, the desire to spread his own vision of djing starts to burn its fingers & mind. He joined in 2003 the famous belgian website www.theclubbing.com as Webmaster France & Music. Quickly, the Electro scene sees him as a passionate and respected interviewer & reviewer through chronics & private newsletters. In 2004, in parallel with fresh bookings, he formed with 4 others talented djs the Dviason Crew, which mastered from 2004 to 2006 a successful and celebrated party called Freaks at the now famous & internationally respected Kiosk Club in Lille which was elected in the best 20 clubs in France by Trax Magazine. After welcoming artists such as Andrew Weatherall, The Hacker, Damian Lazarus, Housemeister, Savas Pascalidis or Radioactive Man, Dviason throws a new party concept named "Dviason presente". Since 2006 this event welcomed Stephan Bodzin, Misc Live, Umwelt Live, Heartthrob Live, Paul Kalkbrenner Live & Sascha Funke, David Keno, Phil Kieran, Billy Nasty, Jamie Jones, Maetrik Live, Get The Curse & Bitmut Live. In October 2008 it’s time to go even further, PussySelektor joined Lutezo & Ramon G for the creation of Signaletik Production, a platform dedicated to party promotion & a new label : Signaletik Records with scheduled releases by Darko Esser (w/ a Scan X rmx), Electric Rescue (w/ a Julian Jeweil rmx), and some others brilliant techno artists to be announced. It’s also time to start producing with a new partner in crime, Monoblok, owner of Rodoid Netlabel & part of the Paysages Electroniques Festival (Berlin, Geneva, Lille). 4 Releases on leading labels (Lebensfreude, Meant, Notorious Elektro & Electric Sheep) in 1 year saw them becoming true hope of french electronic scene. Moreover, PussySelektor is part of NAME Festival organisation with Art Point M as Dj & Web Marketing Manager. PussySelektor saw him play in major events, festivals & clubs in France, Germany, Belgium & Spain with one major desire : slam the audience !
