Their performance style is based on live sounds from musical instruments (guitar, bass and drums) and they infuse electronic elements into their minimalistic live sounds. The band infuses inspiration from each member's various musical tastes, from techno to folk music, electronica to jazz, resulting in a unique sound. In 2004, they performed at 'SONAR SOUND TOKYO' and released their debut CD "another tone form" via 'third-ear'. After a nationwide tour in 2006, they formed their own label called 'yuritona' and released a series of EPs "sketch ep vol.1", "sketch ep vol.2", and "sketch ep vol.3". They participated in a compilation album "emergence" which was released through "synapse", a label founded in Sapporo. They released a split album "on to tone triangle" with Olololop in 2004 and toured all over Japan and Hokkaido. qodibop is set to release their 2nd album 'become color" via synapse in April, 2012.
