Quentin Kane & Simon Sheldon

Biografía

  • A chance meeting of like minded souls Simon and Quentin met and instantly found a connection, house music, funk, jazz and all things soulful.
Quentin and Simon’s releases have had plays and praise for house don's from DJ Spen to Dave Clarke and Studio 54 resident Kenny Carpenter to Detroit legend James Pennington. Releasing on Unquantize and Quantize Recordings amongst many others and with releases and remixes backing up plus a new live show on the horizon I think we may be seeing a bit more of Quentin and Simon. Simon Sheldon's first job after leaving school was in OMD's studio, the Pink Museum in his home town Liverpool. On arriving to his now home Belfast he started playing in a few bands before forming a drum'n'bass outfit Spree. Spree went on to release many tracks on label's such as Aspect records, Formation, NIR amongst others while also being a prolific live act, playing in US and across Europe and also playing the Jazz World stage at Glastonbury. Quentin served a 10 year + residency at Belfast’s legendary club Thompsons Garage and while doing so released and remixed on many labels.
