- RadioNasty is the collaborative studio and DJ project of Billy Nasty – founder of Tortured and Electrix Records and Keith Tenniswood - also known for his solo output as Radioactive Man and for his work as one half Two Lone Swordsmen with Andrew Weather..The pair first found they shared an affinity for the darker rave edged sounds to come from the roots of rave born techno in the UK when they hooked up at BLOC where both artists have enjoyed residencies since the party’s early formation. Since, they first locked in studio time together the releases began in 2012 by way of their track ‘Radio 3’ on EPM’s well received EPM 10 compilation. The next release followed closely being heard in the halls of London’s fabric at the hands of musical director Craig Richards. ‘Radio 1’ and ‘Radio 2’ saw a vinyl release on Craig’s imprint The Nothing Special which quickly sold out. The duo also found time to produce a cool remix for contemporary jazz pioneers, Red Snapper 2013 saw the release of their ‘Breakin Bad EP’ on Tortured, featuring two Ben Sims remixes as well as two original tracks. They quickly followed that with 'Clave to the Rhythm' EP on Electrix backed by remixes from Transparent Sound and Scape One. Out and about RadioNasty have been booked for numerous DJ dates together, from supporting the mighty Juan Atkins at London club XOYO, performing at EPM’s infamous annual off Sonar event as well to playing Ireland’s Celtronic festival. Looking forward to future live settings, you can expect Billy and Keith to incorporate more of a live element now they have been spending their time building their catalogue of tracks.
