Influenced by a broad range of electronic music genres from house, deep house and techno to disco and world music, he created his very own style. Arrangements of spherical melodies and edgy elements, combined with oriental influences from his home country and various percussions, he is expressing his thoughts and emotions through analog synthesizers, drum machines, bass guitar and even his own voice. Ran is also a live artist who builds and crafts his own unique instruments and perform with them in a new and exciting way. Over the years, Ran has gained great support from Solomun, Magdalena, Black Coffee, Agents of Time, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and many more. In 2014 Ran signed to the Berlin based label Steyoyoke, with his ‘Fractured Memories’ EP. Ever since, Ran Salman released under Steyoyoke / Steyoyoke Black label, Einmusika / EIN2, The Soundgarden and in 2018 he joined BOg’s imprint ‘ATLANT Recordings’ with his EP ‘Through The Woods’ which gained a lot of support in the Afro House scene, hitting the Beatport chart at #3 for a while.
