Biografía
- Anglo-Swiss artist Reber is a versatile musician who has been producing electronic music since 2008. His productions have found their way onto labels like Slightly Sizzled, Fantastic Friends, Disc Over Music and Baile Musik.A passionate musician for 20 years, Reber has been active in various contexts and genres : singer songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist and music teacher. It was only in 2006 that his passion for electronic music was born, as he discovered the club scene whilst studying in Liverpool. London-born and Lausanne-based Reber started performing as a DJ with his good friend Agape in 2008. After five years of playing in several clubs and festivals in Switzerland, he chose to take on a new challenge as a solo artist in 2013, eager to work hard on finding his own sound and better defining his style. From dry minimal beats, to warmer deep house vibes, moving through darker hypnotic atmospheres or more jacking sounds, his sets and productions have the same main ingredients in common: groove and sonic twists. After a remix on Swiss label Fantastic Friends in 2014 and another attention-grabbing remix of Tim Green's track "Scar" early 2015, Reber ended the year nicely with his first original EP coming out on vinyl and digital on Disc Over Music, gaining support from industry big names including Joris Voorn, Claptone, Claude VonStroke, Gel Abril, Audiofly, Yaya, Quenum and many others. Reber followed up in 2016 with his second release "Grace Matinee", this time on Frankfurt label Baile Musik, and he still has a lot more music up his sleeve. More recently, his collabs with Nicolas Duvoisin have been remixed by Subb-an or found a home on vinyl on Splitools, sub-label of Parisian constellation YOYAKU.
