- DJ/Producer Currently based in Berlin, Rod Guillen has always been immersed in building his own sounds. Growing up and living in different metropolises like Lima Peru, New York City and London, Rod was exposed to club music & culture early on.DJ/Producer Rod Guillen. Currently based in Berlin, Rod Guillen has always been immersed in building his own sounds. Growing up and living in different metropolises like Lima Peru, New York City and London, Rod was exposed to club music & culture early on. From a young age Rod developed a sense of curiosity for music production which drew him towards the music industry in the lights of New York. Tweaking his sound to reflect his unique wayfaring experiences leads Rod to create the art that defines his music today. “Music has been my shadow”, said Rod Guillen.“It’s the reason for my nomadic lifestyle.” His experiences in these metropolises inspired him to create his new tracks and remixes in collaboration with few artists, combining that touch of groove that permeates the use of analog vintage equipment, and the local lifestyle of the underground music scene from each city.
