Romain’s rootless background, aspires him to dream of a borderless planet earth, where everyone dances in harmony to the rhythm of any melody. For over 12 years, Romain had been a prominent figure in the Asian music scene, spearheading numerous fresh concepts such as award-winning Fauve Radio & Fauve Records, a dance music-oriented record store called The Pharmacy and was part of festivals such as Shi Fu Miz & Roofest. Ultimately, Romain's career took off with his Boiler Room debut in 2018 in Hong Kong, propelling him into a full-time DJ/Producer and head honcho for teams of cool cats around the world. Since then, he has made a significant impact, releasing music on various global imprints, including Live At Robert Johnson, Kalahari Oyster Cult, Permanent Vacation and Eskimo Recordings. He’s has played and organised events at some of the most iconic venues & events such as Panorama Bar/Berghain, REX Club, Lux Fragil, Sonar, Wonderfruit, the infamous Techno Parade and Nuits Sonores for his Live performance debut alongside Laurent Garnier. His musical productions have been embraced and loved by renowned artists, who have showcased them at prestigious venues such as DJ Harvey at Pikes, Marcel Dettmann at Berghain, Massimilliano at Funk Club, Orpheu The Wizard at Dekmantel, Skatebard at Igloo Festival – cementing his position in the industry and giving him the opportunity to sharing the stage & line ups with some of the most renowned international artists including Jayda G, Paramida, Move D, Habibi Funk, Yu Su and many more. With nearly two decades of crate digging experience resulting in a remarkable collection of over 3000+ vinyl records and CDs, Romain possesses an extensive knowledge of both classic and obscure musical gems. Able to effortlessly adapt his sets to any setting, from sunrise sessions on sandy shores to festivals atop the Great Wall of China.̸Born in France and raised in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the USA, Romain embraces his rootless background, fueling his aspiration for a world without borders.
