- Rude Lead is a vinyl DJ, collector and producer from Oslo, Norway who focuses on boogie, disco, soul and funk, mainly from the 70's and 80's.Christopher Langedahl AKA. Rude Lead started his career as a house DJ in Oslo around the turn of the millennium. After coming home from a digging trip to Berlin in 2010 with a bag full of disco records, the transition from soulful house to soul, disco and boogie came naturally. Since then, he has moved the dance floors of a number of clubs in Norway and abroad with his signature blend of 70's and 80's soul, boogie and disco. As well as having had a number of residencies and having played countless solo gigs in Oslo, he constitutes one fifth of the infamous digger and DJ collective "Diskotaket" that has held residency at Leiligheten Rockefeller for the last six years. In addition to DJ'ing, he has a notable career as a music producer, responsible for soul and boogie releases such as Younes Khalif's debut 45, "Sjalusien Dreper Oss", on his own Stew Studio label. The Norwegian boogie single was an instant underground hit and sold out almost immediately upon release. Recently, he teamed up with Tom Noble from Superior Elevation in New York on the production for Texan soul voice Jay Nemor's first vinyl single, "Come on Go With Me", on UK label Super Disco Edits/Kestrel.
