Biografía
- SAROVIASarovia loved music since her teens. She Loves sing. she sang at a black soul music circle, covering R&B, soul and hiphop music. She engaged with the nightlife of the hip and happening Hongdae area, getting to know club culture and dance music. She made her debut as a DJ when she was 18 after being passionate about music for all her teens. After her debut, she started to play various types of music - soulful deep house, tech house, house and techno - at many places. She was active around hotel Lounges(Woo-bar of W Hotel), Lounges in the Chungdam District, and Clubs in Gangnam, Itaewon and Hongdae. As a female duo called 'Sugar Pop', Sarovia gained recognition from the crowd, playing at Clubs as well as huge Festivals like Jisan Valley Rock Festival, Penta-port Rock Festival, Green Groove Festival and World DJ Festival. However, she ended her activities as a duo after feeling confused by her identity and style. She started playing music with 'Less N Less' Crew, converting her love of techno she has had for many years. She moved her stage to the underground scene. After moving to the underground scene, Sarovia traveled Asia and Europe. Through her Journey, she met many people in the music field and after connecting with them through music, she started to figure out her direction. She was totally mesmerised by the connection she had with people and music she met during her travels. After moving to the underground scene, Sarovia experienced many things. She went through hardships which lead her to a slump that prolonged for 2 years that made her reconsider her career path. The records she bought when she was traveling increased little by little. At first she just bought them to listen, but Sarovia got mesmerised by the sound of vinyls which led her to turntablism. She freed herself from dividing old school and new school, trendy and sound of the past, and defining genres. Afterwards, Sarovia is expressing her colours through SCR(@SeoulCommunityRadio) radio show once a month under the title 'Dreaminrave' playing vinyls and some of digitals. She is also active as a member of the 'soul flowerz' crew based at the club Alley Sound in Itaewon with DJ Hyun, DJ caramel jack, and painter & dancer doongapako. The crew is laying out various projects putting together music, paining, art and dancing. Also She released some Eps Like Module from My Favourite Freaks Music, Fly High From Typhoon 8 Records and Recently Hear The Sound and No Reset From New Violence Records. She is increasing her colour palette through her various activities. Now She moved in Melbourne from 2019.
