It took over 10 years of honing his craft in the art of djing and over 20 years of listening to brain tingling electronic music before Sean decided that it was time to try and lay down his own mark in the electronic scene. Influenced by old electronic stuff, early 90’s rave and the pioneers of electronic music ‘Kraftwerk’, his music today contains ideas and elements from all this music from the past. Never one to follow other peoples paths and constantly doing his own thing, Sean’s been working hard over the past couple of years to develop his own sound and trying to establish himself as a producer in his own right. Sean’s first release came in 2009 – a 3 track EP released on Rationalism Records, a label based in Argentina. His EP was supported by techno heavyweights Pig & Dan [Cocoon], Martin Eyerer, SomeoneElse , to name a few. Other releases followed on labels from Portugal, Brazil and the US as well as remixing for labels from Portugal and Argentina. Sean’s productions have been picking up speed lately with one of his tracks appearing on a Miami Winter Music Conference compilation CD while he attended the conference. One of his latest tracks has just been signed to appear on a compilation for ‘The Originator of House Music’ Jesse Saunders imprint Broken Records/Don’t Fix It Music. A massive coup for Sean and one that shows the direction in which his music is going. Future releases include a 4 track EP on Area Sur records which is getting remixed by some big name producers, an EP on his first Irish based label ‘5Tonne Recordings’, tracks signed to Border Records in Mexico and also interest from other respected underground labels. Sean has just took the next big step by launching his own record label ‘Vindico Records’ and fulfilled a lifetime dream in doing so. It will be an outlet for his own music as well as being the home for music from Artists all over the world. Big movement is planned for the future of the label and it’s safe to say Sean’s future too.
