Biografía
- Semodi is a Berlin-based producer, live performer and DJ of electronic music. His sound is a mix of progressive house and techno infused with the catchy hooks of pop and the harmonic depth classical music.Being direct as a person Semodi also follows a direct in-your-face approach in his music. His rhythms are unapologetic and sophisticated at the same time, featuring a multitude playful details in the background. They force you to listen and to dance, drag you in and then when you’re hooked, Semodi feeds you the iconic melody that you have been waiting for for so long. In recent years Semodi released some tracks on labels like Bonzai Progressive and Heimlich and last year also his first EP “Next Summer” including three original tracks and three remixes by Nico Pusch, Melokind and Theus Mago on Thisbe Recordings. Also he has been touring Germany’s electronic music festivals (Fusion, Katzensprung, Wilde Möhre…) with his live-act Mojoy and made his appearance as a DJ Berlin club scene (Renate, Ritter Butzke).
