His love for music, rooted deeply in his c..The latest up and coming talent from Istanbul-born (Pittsburgh, PA resident) music phenomenon Sertac Sahin has been making his mark on the Tech House scene with a series of hot releases and live performances. His love for music, rooted deeply in his classical music education from Istanbul Music Conservatory, has cascaded into his recent releases. Appearing on Go Deeva, Incorrect Music, Particles, Witty Tunes, and Zenbi Recordings, Sertac’s productions and remixes have climbed the Beatport Tech House charts. Sertac's transition from classical to electronic music production began in 2005 upon playing keyboards for Ahmet Sendil’s and U.F.U.K studios’ original productions. Subsequently, Sertac worked at FG radio in Istanbul and performed at the Creamfields Festival in Istanbul. Although Sertac's first taste of success began 7 years ago with ‘What Is Love’, (released by Bosphorus Underground Recordings), which entered Beatport’s Deep House chart at 57, his most noteworthy contributions to electronic music are his recent original productions and collaborations with Dan Stark (see Discography). Additionally, Sertac has worked with Anthony Attala,Hernan Cerbello, Oliver Lieb, Redondo, and Vanilla Ace. Both Sertac’s original and Stark and Sahin productions have been hailed by the likes of Sasha, Seth Troxler, Funkagenda, Arjun Vagale, and Simone Vitulio. Sertac's most significant DJ performances were at Club Cielo, NYC (opening set for Danny Howells); Sertac Sahin and Vanilla Ace at the Grasshopper (Detroit, MI); and Sertac Sahin at Hot Mass (Pittsburgh, PA). Most recently, Sertac has landed a monthly residency on Proton Radio, called "The Way" w/ Dan Stark. All this and Stark & Sahin’s new radio show called, “The Way” is featured on the internet powerhouse station, “Proton Radio”. The show continues to grow new fans each and every month and often features high profile guests and the Duo’s newest productions in their mixes.
