His music, rooted in Melodic Techno and Deep House, stands out for its deep emotion and distinctive touch of darkness, giving it a unique and recognizable personality. Inspired by the sound of 80s electronic rock, Serval blends elements from iconic bands such as Depeche Mode, New Order, and Joy Division with influences from minimalist techno figures like Richie Hawtin, Magda, Troy Pierce, and Marc Houle.
