- A Futurist in every sense of the wordAs an artist, i've never felt part of the crowd I've always been the outsider Never one to follow the crowd single-minded in life and in music Coming from an underground music background I tend to shun the mainstream as an artist, I began making music self-taught from young. I got into acid house Detroit techno and other underground sounds I was listening to in the UK. then in the mid-2000s I began djing at various underground clubs around the UK I then decided to form my own label so I could make what I wanted and how I wanted without any label control. 2017 see's the start of a new journey with Futurist the aim is to make techno that makes you think and is very abstract. 2018 will see a continuation of this with a host of releases coming from Futurist as a label, we don't follow anyone we just do what we feel hopefully enlightening people to our sound.as we feel techno at the moment needs a new direction.
