Whatever the setting, just know Shox always lays it down.“It’s forever evolving,” says Shox of the music he DJs on his Rinse FM show. This statement describes the DJ/Producer from East London consummately. Starting out as a UK garage lover, James Morreale aka Shox set about collecting rare whites and anthems from today’s veterans such as Zed Bias & Zinc who he can now class as supporters of his music. Fast forward to the present and the skills and influences he picked up from that era along with his versatility as a producer have taken him across the globe to perform to thousands. As well as being an experienced radio broadcaster and versatile DJ, Shox is also one of the most exciting producers actively releasing music currently. He works closely with London based label Audio Doughnuts and AD Music Group putting out a string of releases with them and is currently working on an LP set for later in the year not too mention he’s an affiliate of the now retired NYC forefront label and brand, Trouble & Bass and also releases with Rinse counterpart, Roska and Fat! Records where he dropped his most popular release so far in the "I Know EP". He's a favourite at Red Bull Studios and regularly drops by to collobarate on tracks with name's including Mak & Pasteman, Roy Davis Jr, Curses!, Last Japan as well as Fabric where you can find interviews and his hard-hitting 'FabricLive Mix' and you can hear his sounds across the worldwide airwaves via BBC Radio One, Triple-J, RBMA:Radio plus more.
