- Stefano Vacca A.k.a. Siko, versatile artist, in his sets he loves to create musical paths that can also start by revisiting pieces house masterpieces old school through deep house with a kick and bassline marked and characterized by slow sound colored,..Born in 1980, Stefano Vacca began to cultivate a deep passion for music since his childhood thanks to the music of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, U2, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley and many other artists who wrote the history of international music. At 13 he bought his first musical instrument, a drums, and started playing with friends hard rock, punk and heavy metal. In '95 hip-hop arrived in Italy and the young rocker is soon fascinated by this sound but mostly by the culture of DJing; he started going to the jams, to attend the first parties and, in the meantime, at home, by using the most classic of the record players, he tried scratching on the poor records of his father, falling head over heels in love with vinyl. In this background born the stage name Dj Siko with which Stefano used to sign his graffiti. In '96 he hosted a HIP Hop program on a local radio station wich increased significantly its musical culture. In the "HARDER TIMES" parties Siko, not missing any party as a clubber, is one of the family and in 2000 appeared for the first time in the famous Sardinian after party . His sound is greatly changed, Techno and Hardhouse are now his favorite genres. In 2001 he started playing in the early parties by Nightsounds with C-SKY, SRA & friends. Over the years his sound evolved and in his sets are recognizable funky, deep, techno and Old School House influences. In the summer of 2012 he is DJ resident at the console of the Ritual in Baja Sardinia (considered by many experts as one of the most exclusive clubs not only in the Emerald Coast but all over the world) supporting and opening the dance floor with artists of the likes of: Satoshie Tomiie, Miss Kittin, Paul Ritch, Ellen Allien, Ilario Alicante, Pirupa, Federico Grazzini, Stefano Noferini, Steve Mantovani, Remo, Supernova, etc. In the same year he played as a guest at the Phi Beach, judged by the New York Times one of the ten most beautiful clubs of the globe. In 2014 published his first release with his friend Rick Sanders "Lovely Places", an EP with three tracks characterized by deep-tech sounds.̸06.01.14 - Lovely Places Ep (Smiley Fingers Ltd)
