Biografía
- Performer, producer and DJ of electronic music. Originally from Gothenburg in Sweden, now based in Chigasaki, Japan.Simon Krusell, hailing from the west coast of Sweden, had his first vinyl release when he was only 16 years old. Growing up on a steady dose of classical music, through his mother who played the violin as well as piano, coupled with the bourgeoning European rave scene in the mid 90s, all made a heavy mark on a young Simon as he immediately started composing on his own, as well as DJing. He has also hosted his own FM radio show at the end of the 90s as well as doing club promotion and today he is settled in Chigasaki, Japan, where he plays shows regularly and also runs the Japanese office of Elektron Music Machines, the cult synthesizer and drum machine manufacturer. スウェーデンの西海岸に生まれたサイモン・クルセル（Simon Krusell）は、わずか16歳の時に初めてレコードをリリースしました。彼のバックボーンにはヴァイオリンとピアノの教師であった母親があり、幼少の頃よりクラシック音楽に精通しながらも、並行して90年代半ばのヨーロッパのレイヴシーンに触れてきました。これらすべての要素が若きサイモンに多大な印象を与え、作曲やDJといった活動に取りかかるまでに時間を要することはありませんでした。そして彼は90年代末には自身のFMラジオ局を立ち上げ、クラブ・プロモーションに多くの功績を残してきました。 今日では東京へと居を移し、カルト的な人気を誇るシンセサイザー・ドラムマシンメーカーであるElektron Music Machinesの日本支社を設立。定期的なパフォーマンスを行い様々な面からミュージックシーンへ関わり続けている。
