- Skatramp: techno addicted from the south of Italy.Francesco Laterza, Italian, improved from an early age an innate passion for music. This passion led him at the age of ten years to approach the study of classical guitar and music theory and, a few years later, the study of the electric guitar. He became Skatramp on 2006 in London, where he lives for months, between clubs and parties, a total experience that has its background the London underground music scene. This rebirth turned into pure passion for electronic music, and specifically, in devotion to Techno. At the beginning his music is research and musical experimentation but then he gives life to subtle and dynamic creations. His dj-set are not made only by sounds but they are the backbone of a true lifestyle based on the ideology of the techno movement. Such approaches to the underground world sketch out the portait of a musician melody-conscious and costantly hunting for new sounds. Winner of the national final of the contest DJ MarteLive Italy on 2009, he had the opportunity, in these years, to deal with different musical contexts. In the same year he begins to perform in some local events where he shared the console with Lele Sacchi (Magazzini Generali, Milano) and Techno Soldiers (Intellighenzia Electronica, Milano). In the February 2012 he played in his first gig in Milan at the Uncarnival official after party, Unafter, at De Sade Club. In the same year his djsets have been published on Background Techno Experience Podcast, Italiansgroove Radio Show (Svarioni Premeditati) and Artestep (Artes Radio) and subsequently, he played at some after party at Million Club (Terlizzi). In 2013 he began the Electronic Music Production Certificate Course at SAE Institute Milano. In the March of the same year he played at his first electronic music festival, Interactiva Festival, at Officine Creative Ansaldo in Milan alongside djs as Silent Servant and DVS1. In June, instead, he shared the consolle of Dude Club with Perc. In the same year he begins to devote himself to produce his own music, which from the outset delineate the key features of his musical style: the darker techno sounds intertwine with hypnotic grooves and acid frequencies in an atmosphere of sound between the Industrial and Techno Detroit.
