- Matthew Agius aka Sleeps EveryWhere, has been in involved with Techno music since 1999 as under the alias Hystericmaniak. Sleeps EveryWhere is his new project, raw Techno sound, fast paced and energetic.To start with, i've been in touch with techno music since the tender age of 10, bought my first record from X-SUB records featuring a track called Hystericmaniac, by Dj-Misjah vs Dj-Jean Pierre ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMi67MnmcRA ). This record made me fall in love with techno music instantly, and then i got more records after that, it was like an addiction. I was so in love with the Genre that i connected with it as a Promoter, Dj, Producer and many other ways possible. I performed under the name of Hystericmaniak from the early 2000's till around 2015. I used to Promote Hard techno at the time with my events EVIL ARTILLERY, booking djs like Viper xxl, Dj Amok, Felix Krocher & many more. After i decided to stop with events i fell in love with dark techno sound and i produced and released with multiple labels worldwide, also working with well established artists from around the globe. I also performed in countries like, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium & Malta. Around 2015 i had no time to make music anymore and i felt like i was lost. The sound i was making wasn't completely me since i came from a Hard Techno (schranz) era. I met a guy Called Mario Tumpell Lia at an event whilst i was warming up Sam Paganini, got in touch and started with events again under the name of Worship The Bass. One of our guests in 2017 was Remco Beekwilder. I immediatley liked the guy, very easy going, nice to talk to and amazing artist. I was discussing with him how i used to love making music and lost my way, and somehow i felt i had this energy inside of me but i couldn't find my way to make new stuff. I heard his set and tracks and i got inspired. He asked me to try and do something new and send it over to him so he could give me his opinion. I wanted to start fresh so i buried the Hystericmaniak project and came up with Sleeps Everywhere, a name which my girlfriend gave me since I'm a very easy sleeper and decided to go along with it. The first track i sent to Remco was called Extinguished. Almost 2 years after its signed to Remco's Emerald label. Thanks to him i found my way again and I'm loving this new sound.̸Sleeps Everywhere - Extinguish [Emerald]
