Biografía

  • Three individuals drawing inspiration from their musical heritage, 'SOS' was born with no specific desire but only to create synergy and universal passion.
SOS was born to create musical synergy, with a common goal to move people, the innovative trio exist in an exciting digital era when live remixing, personal edits and inimitable shows all allow for differentiation – and this is where the SOS trailblazers shine with their unique approach to djing in the 21st century. Three individuals drawing inspiration from their musical heritage, and direction from their SexOnWax, aLOLa, Alternative Route & Eyetone music labels, whose incendiary, underground supercharged house and tech-flecked grooves and sample dropping have been responsible for raising parties to the ground on a global scale. As a trio, SOS started their journey with a series of legendary London boat parties & Ibiza showcases amongst the many highlights of the collective’s career as SOS. 2006 This was a one-off feature from the traditional 2 hour 'Essential Mix' format and saw the trio receive global exposure. Off the back of their 3 hour sonic journey, the boys were to hold a London residency at London's Ministry of Sound as well as performing at some of the world's most interesting club venues and festivals. 2008 Their debut compilation was the critically acclaimed three-disc mix for EQ’s acclaimed Balance series in 2008. This timeless piece demonstrated musical synergy at its highest expression, and forever kissed its love on dance music's legacy. 2010 Their energy-fuelled quarterly residency held at Ministry of Sound in London since 2007 inspired SOS to embark on their follow-up project which featured one mix recorded live at the venue whilst the second CD showcased brand new productions and unreleased remix material from Omid 16B as well as the trio SOS. Their sonic blueprint was previewed to the world in February 2010 on a double-CD compilation for Ministry Of Sound. The album saw critical acclaim from the music press and was named ‘Compilation of the Month’ in both DJ Magazine and Tillate. DJ magazine were to give the trio the front cover feature in their 2010 New Year issue.
