Soul Camp Recordings was formed in 1999 in Berlin by Werner Niedermeier and Sefty Sersseludis. As a logical result they decided to use Soul Camp as their artist project. During their time in Berlin they had regular guest appearances and residencies in clubs such as WMF, 103, Cookies, Stern Radio, Jazzanova's Kaleidoscope, Watergate and Panorama Bar as well as international gigs in major cities like London, Barcelona, Madrid, New York, Tokyo, Paris, Athens to name but a few. They also managed to get some remix work and releases for other labels done such as Tracks Of Interest, Records Of Interest, Intim Recordings, Liquid Sound Lounge, Chillifunk, Flamingo Discos, Sense Music etc. and remixed the likes of Terry Callier, Lenny Fontana, Phonique and Robert Owens under their moniker Soul Camp. After several releases and remixes from the likes of East West Connection, Phonique, Martin Landsky, Marc Schneider and Master Seb they finally decided in 2002 to move to Majorca for a year and took on residencies in diverse clubs such as Garito Cafe', Tito's and Pacha. After a break for several years the boys teamed up again recently with their Soul Camp project and released new material so far on Guy Gerber's Supplemental, Sweat Lodge [Berlin] and Bulletdodge [Glasgow]. More exciting releases and remixes for 2012 will be released on Something Different Records (UK) and Organic Music (GER/FR).
