- Producer, DJ and electronic music enthusiast alike. Soulcool hails out of Limpopo in Thohoyandou, Venda. When not performing he spends his time in studio creating his own music. Having spent many years playing at all of the major night clubs alongside..Soulcool is a Dj/producer/ Remixer from South Africa. Born 26th August 1986 in Thohoyandou a township in Venda. Soulcool’s love of house music started when he was 12 years old, in 1999 after listening to fresh house flava vol. 1 he knew he was destined to do house music. Soulcool started deejaying at high school in 2002. In 2006 he moved to Pretoria to study at Tshwane South College. That’s when he started to collect vinyl’s and mastered the art of deejaying in between He was doing gigs in various places in Pretoria and Limpopo. In 2007 Soulcool started to produce his own tracks that’s when he released his first EP in the year 2012 intense Soul EP which was released under Rockside Productions on afrodesiamp3, one of the tracks in the EP lost in the forest was a hit which was also featured on the South African Music Conference in 2010 the track was in the top 100 best-selling tracks for Three months on afrodesiamp3. Soulcool Continued to release various EP’s and Doing Remixes Such as Micasa-These Streets just to name a few. Soulcool has played as a guest dj at clubs like Bull Pen, Capello Thorn hill, Maroola Lounge just to name a few. Soulcool has also played for S.A.B events, Gumba Fire, Univen Parties and a lot of other gigs. Currently Soulcool Has a slot on Phalaphala Fm on Friday’s at 10:15 PM-10:45P Soulcool has an EP out under Nick Holder’s label DNH RECORDS titled Awakening EP, Rapture EP, Legacy EP. Which is doing very well on digital sites, the EP is available for downloads on Traxsource, Beatport, Afrodesiamp3. Also one of his track Hush, Take It Easy is compiled on Fistaz Mixwell Addictiv
