His vibrations is carefully, expertly and playfully crafted thru a lifetime, manifesting his characteristic "no rule- innovative" flavored heat, composed with such detail and expression, that it talks to your body and soul with utter ease, when presenting it on an audio system of choice in the setting you find yourself in, now, and forever. Key- genres that emerges from SAM's intensity, is rooted from: House, Nu- Disco, Electronica, Breaks, D'nB, and Techno, i.e., and are adapted into Stians' unmistakable and recognizable, custom footprint, like absolutely no other in this contradicting multiverse of reality. ::: Stian A. Mikkelsen aka SoundSAM, born 1979 Oslo, grown in Grimstad - Norway, was early fascinated at the age of 8 by synthesizers and vocoders. At age 14 he started creating music on the Commodore AMIGA, inspired by the North Norwegian club scene, and aged 16 he started to DJ and arranged House parties in the local community. From there on, electronic music became a manic obsession, soul therapy and a solid expression- form for the talented young fox. To this day, he is releasing music mainly on his label Phat Fuel Records, but have put out remixes and originals on labels such as Nervous, Toolroom, Balkan Connection, No Shame, Skycreaker, Section and more. And he has remixed artists like Røyksopp, Tesla Boy, Triangle Sun, Chordashian + some brilliant bootleg remixes to be found on different sites on the web, with great success. Stian is a schizoprenic audio- magician, insisting on creating all sounds for his music by himself, on synths, drummachines, samplers and computers to get a cutting edge unique sound pallette that is uncompromising for that unmistakably SoundSAM vibe and character. Mr. S produce a broad variety of genres within electronic music, and will never do the same thing twice. Still, you will recognize his custom style, easily.
