- DJ/producer AK Sports AKS delivers high NRG sets spanning hard-techno, trance, breaks and 160+ under new-world-rave finding their footing as a respected artist based between London & Los Angeles and radio host on Londons esteemed Rinse FM.Raised down under and now based between London and LA, AK SPORTS’ productions, DJ sets, mixes and radio shows (Rinse FM London) are a melting pot of rave and techno flavours, equally inspired by the old school and the new. On Beatportal's 'one to watch' list and coined by Dummy Mag as one of the best emerging producers - from industrial techno, with MPC claps to reverberating breaks and futuristic soundscapes, AK sees diverse releases on esteemed underground UK, Australian and Berlin based labels such as RAW, Club Madhouse, Shall Not Fade, Gallery Recordings, Nasty Enterprises Berlin and a 45 minute cassette tape via Club Glow Tapes London which received acclaim on DJ Mag as one of the top releases of 2021. Post pandemic touring saw a stellar debut set at HÖR Berlin, Fabric Nightclub London, Splendour in the Grass Australia and headlining various tastemaker clubs across UK, EU, Australia, NZ and the USA as well as hosting a Boiler Room under their LA based collective WARP MODE. This year AK continued their hot streak playing headline club shows and major festivals the likes of Glastonbury, Pitch Music and Arts, EDC Las Vegas, EDC Mexico City and Fusion Festival Berlin *& more around Europe, USA and Australia.
