Biografía
- Resident at HYPER events near Venice, guest in renowned Italian techno clubs and festivals, and underground clubs overall Europe and olso Colombia. Latest release strongly supported by Richie Hawtin, Chris Liebing, DVS1, Dave ClarkeBorn in Zurich and grown up in Italy, he took his first steps into the techno world in the late ’90s playing at rave party, taking inspiration from his idols Jeff Mills and Dave Clarke. His artistic career achieved his first major achievements in 2001 when he debuted with his first Zool EP vinyl on Underground Media Records by Mauro Picotto and landed at the legendary Italian techno club Matrix in Brescia, where he has been regular resident for five years. Since 2005 Stephan has continued his musical growth by playing in many renowned Italian techno clubs and festivals shared stages with all the best international artists, and underground club as headliner around all of Europe and overseas in Colombia. Since 2013, he has been resident at HYPER’s events in Italy (near Venice), which became the stage for international techno legends and the new underground scene like Oscar Mulero, Speedy J, Surgeon, Dax J, Headless Horseman, SNTS, Nur Jaber, Blawan, Black lotus. Stephan has released music on established labels like R3volution, Diffuse Reality, Naked Lunch, Decoy, Liberta, TMM, Decoy, DEAD CERT, Adroit and many more, incl. remixes by Sept, Insolate, Vil, Xhei, Dj Emerson, Antony Doria, Alex TB, Marco Effe, Stephen Disario, Israel Toledo & Lathan, were played by Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Rebekah, Jeroen Search, Nocturnal Sunshine, Nicole Moudaber, Sam Paganini and many more, up to the recent massive supports of Chris Liebing, Richie Hawtin and DVS1 for months in major international club and festivals. Italian’s techno icon, Stephan Krus’ sound includes not only years of experience as a DJ, but also 20 years as a techno lover and fan.
