- StereoSoulSystem are Paul B. and Luca Phenix.Luca Phenix and Paul B. are StereoSoulSystem. Based in Milan, StereoSoulSystem started in 2008 when Paul and Luca decided to combine their talent and diverse different musical tastes to coin a new and qualitative sound, a crossover of house music, soul and modern synths. Their first release was a remix for Hermosa Recordings - Justin Michael's U.S. imprint. Their mix of 'Jazz It Up' (Dutchian Soul) was released alongside further mixes from Nikola Gala and Jask. After their first release on Hermosa, the duo began a collaboration with Nocturnal Groove - the London based label owned by the The Shapeshifters. The 'Lost EP' was their first release on Nocturnal Groove and received support from the likes Aaron Ross and The Shapeshifters. StereoSoulSystem have since signed a second EP ('Gonna Get EP') to Nocturnal Groove which was released in early 2010. 'Gonna Get' was included on the digital compilation 'Nocturnal Grooves - Vol.2 : Mixed By the Shapeshifters' and supported by the likes of Groove Armada, Mark Knight, Tedd Patterson, Robert Owens, Mr. V, Juan Kidd, Danism and Gramam Sahara. The 'Gonna Get EP' got good specialist radio play and was also charted by Traxsource who featured the track in their 'House Essentials' Chart. Most recently StereoSoulSystem have releases two killer remixes. First up is their take on 'Pacific State' (Doman & Gooding) for Nocturnal Groove. Their mix was released on the same package as mixes by Gramophonedzie and Filthy Rich. The second one is a mix for The Cube Guys - one of the most important Italian duos on the scene. Featuring the vocals of Lisa Pure, StereoSoulSystem's re-work of 'When I Fall In Love' (The Cube Guys) was released on Rise (Italy).
