His music experience goes back to grade school when he started playing drums. Having competed in and winning many local drum-off showcases; Steve’s natural talent for making beats was realized. His experience in the club scene goes back to 2002 when Steve started producing music. Shortly after he started producing, Steve went to a few crazy parties, experienced some “crazy shit” and then started DJing. However, he is not your typical run of the muck DJ. Old techno & house producers like Richie Hawtin, Dusty Kid, Dax Rider, Daft Punk, Tiefschwarz and Swayzak have influenced Steve’s production style tremendously. Not to mention the heavy influence of drum and bass producers such as UK’s DJ hype and Metalheadz Rec. Producers. Shortly after mastering Fruityloops and DJing at clubs throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, Steve began using industry quality software and equipment to produce techno and house tracks. Upon listening to his originals, remixes and mixtapes, you will see exactly how in your face his style is. “Tons of bass and a shitload of effects,” is how Steve best describes it. As it stands right now, Steve Ryback is on track to becoming one of LA’s and OC’s fastest growing producer/DJs.
