Biografía
- Soumaya Laghiti, aka Stranger Souma, is a Sound artist, Dj & producer and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in the north African city of Casablanca.As a 90s kid, she grew up listening to hip hop, european made electronic music and enjoying north african rhythms. Her music is House and Techno influenced, with ethereal organic instruments and hypnotic ambient atmospheres. While keeping it up with her mission of creating more opportunities, and more access to music learning for women and gender minorities , she has recently collaborated with many Moroccan and international artists, researching and exploring the relationship between time and history, new technologies and the identity of modern Morocco, with its Amazigh, African and Arab influences.
