- Sublime Sound is New Delhi, India-based musician Anhad Khanna's solo moniker.Sublime Sound is New Delhi-based musician, Anhad Khanna’s, solo moniker. With a left-field approach to composition, Sublime Sound digs deep into the surface of club sounds and traditional dance floor soundscapes that are driven by styles like Breakbeat, House, and Techno. As a producer, DJ, and seasoned musician in the Indian music scene, Anhad has grown to be known as one of the most versatile upcoming acts from the circuit. A more traditional musician at the core, the journey of Sublime Sound’s music writing has been on an ever-evolving path, where experiments with visual inspirations and study of electronic music play a vital role. 2020 saw the release of an experimental electronica EP ‘Final Call’ which was a debut for Khanna and 2021 a lush summer-inspired breakbeat single ‘Colour’ was put out which took Anhad’s studio productions to the cover of Spotify India’s editorial playlist ‘Incoming-Indie’. With a strong vision and a rebranding plan for the year 2022, the ultimate goal for SS is to hone the craft, create a flavourful sonic palette, and bridge a creative crossover of visual/film and emotionally driven club music. The first release being, That Love Affair [EP] on London-based record label Remmah founded by a renowned catalyst, DJ and Producer - Hammer. Anhad is also a part of the critically acclaimed Indo-American music duo - Anhad + Tanner, featured on Mixmag, IndyWeek - Durham, Times of India, Rolling Stone India, and many more reputed platforms. Along with working as a producer and engineer for other artists, his involvement in the music education sector in India is a vital part of his day-to-day artistic endeavors, right after graduating high school in 2016 he worked with and taught under-resourced government school students using music as a tool to help them develop life skills with non-profit - Music Basti and is currently a music tech faculty teaching critical listening and production analysis at Global Music Institute, the only Berklee network school in India.
