- sunflwr is a producer based in Los Angeles, CA. He began the project in 2020 and has since released six EPs and several singles. sunflwr focuses on dreamy house music that's best for late night drives and muted cartoon reruns.Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Lucas Hanson (aka sunflwr) grew up playing bass and piano and began exploring electronic music in his late teenage years with influences of artists like the Gorillaz, Little Dragon & Bonobo. Hanson studied music in New York and fell in love with house music and began to DJ and produce with a new focus on more uptempo tracks. After moving to Los Angeles and a several year hiatus from consistent musical output, Hanson started releasing music as ‘sunflwr’ in 2020. He has since released six EPs, several singles, remixes and collaborations and become a recognizable player in the lofi house scene. He plans to release two collaborative singles, an EP and continue playing sets across the U.S. this year.
