Biografía

  • In the 90s he started with Rave like The KLF did it. MTV Partyzone had an strong influence. You can hear him in Germany and he played already in Czech Republic, Poland, Austria and Slovakia.
Sven Hanke is a slave to the sound of the machines since the beginning of the 90s maybe because he was studying mechanical engineering where he also got his diploma. When he was listening to music regular we were living in the beginning of the 90s. Because of that reason Sven got directly in contact with the "rave"-sound at this time. The sounds came from The KLF and many other producers. A big influence was the weekly show “MTV Partyzone” with Simone Angel. First he was a consumer of CDs and mixtapes with electronic music. The first turntables and a mixer he bought in 1995 and he is still a slave to the magic of 1200/1210 until today. The first records he bought in the recordstore “Hardwax” in Dresden. The most records he plays in clubs are techno with energy, heart and soul in all variations. He integrates for example records and tracks from Birmingham, Chicago, No Future/Brighton und Detroit in his DJ sets, but you can also find Industrial- or Electro-Tracks there. You can hear him often in Germany and he also played in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Austria. Sven writes also as editor for german magazines for example interviews/portraits (Surgeon, James Ruskin, Lenny Dee, Alexander Kowalski, Alan Oldham, Subhead, Mark Hawkins, House Of Fix, Syntax Error, Michael Forshaw, Feinwerk + Snork Enterprises, Pure Rhythm Records, Stephan Strube) and record reviews.
