- Brazilian DJ, Profesional Musician and Composer, and also manager and A&R of labels Urbanized and Guilhotina together with his Bitch Bros partner, Marcelo Andres Domancich.Dj, Producer, Musician, Mixing & Mastering Engineer and Record Label owner - Urbanized Records from Brazil DIRTY 9 aka SYBEL aka FREAK THE DISCO Sybel Calmon started his musical life at young age when he lived in Barcelona-Spain. He studied Music in the Escuela Classica de Musica of Barcelona playing flute and classical piano. After this period he returned to Brazil in 1998 and started working with Audio Production. His studies at FAMES - Brazilian Music College led to his full time devotion for music and continuing his studies obtained his masters degree in music and mixing technologies from University of Milan-Italy. He worked with URBR Records Party (Brazil), Urbanized Fever (Brazil), Elements (Argentina), Renault Speed Beats (Brazil) and MTV Party (Argentina). Sybel had also an amazing Europe Tour where he played played in Milano (Toqueville Club / VOGUE Music), Barcelona (LIVING Club 1880 - Las Ramblas), Lisbon (Queluz House Party) Milan/Italy for VOGUE Music Club/VOGUE magazine,etc Zapping back and forth through the musical galaxy that makes up his universe of sounds, Sybel Calmon is always surprising with one or two additional new gimmicks which makes checking out his new releases and collaborations so worthwhile. With a wealth of knowledge and experience internationally and an intimate understanding of his sound, he is set to truly make a mark with his distinctive take on electronic music. He aims to shape the public's appreciation and understanding, creating truly memorable performance that transcends passion and emotion to deliver an unforgettable sound excursion.
