- T. A. R. D. (Techy, Aggressive, Raunchy & Deep)Matthew Harris a.k.a. Totally Awesome Radical DJ, is immersed in the world of music. Pulling quadruple duty as DJ, Producer, Engineer & Music Director. Matthew began professionally DJing in 1995 with a rare residency at the now infamous Knock Knock in Orlando, FL. 1998 he earned Associated of Science degree in Recording Arts at the top of his class. with Course Director's Award an letter of recommendation. He quickly secured a position as Engineer, A Room Mix Assistant and Producer at Trans-Continental Studios. Following Trans-Con, Matthew released his first House E.P. "I've Had Enough" on his own imprint Florida House Music in the Summer of 2001. While holding residency for that summer's Global Underground tour at legendary club ICON in Orlando Matthew's dream turned reality. As John Creamer had failed to arrive for his headlining slot Matthew secured his reputation as the Totally Awesome Radical DJ by filling the headlining slot w seamless mixes an genre defying programming to ICON's capacity crowd, effectively debuting his newly pressed single "This is a Beat" to 1000 heads of Orlando's famed House culture. From here he would join Grammy Nominated Bill Hamel's Sunkissed records with Seth Vogt to remix "Outbreakz" garnering support from Djs Hernan Cattaneo, James Zabiela, Sasha, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren and Layo & Bushwacka. With the demise of large format clubs T.A.R.D. saw the future. He developed Orlando's Crooked Bayou into a lounge destination for touring Djs specializing in Deep & Tech House talent which remains a staple of the Central Florida House scene for ten years running. Pressing his abilities an attempting to push boundaries Matthew's obscure style of mixing and remixing has become known as Technical, Aggressive, Raunchy & Deep. Matthew is currently diversifying himself in preparation for an album release a massing ten tunes crossing several genres of Electronic Dance Music.
