- Tapefeed, an electronic music project born from the collaboration of two Italian artists, Alessandro Boni and Rick Vayo, currently operates out of Italy.The duo's sonic palette is a vibrant fusion of styles, ranging from driving techno grooves to sophisticated experimental tones. They skillfully blend raw percussion, tribal influences, and a dynamic groove approach, spanning from 4/4 beats to more intricate rhythms, all while maintaining a pronounced UK bass influence. Having initially made waves with their residency at Superstition in Village Underground, Tapefeed has been making significant strides in the international techno scene over the past few years. Since 2021, they've been holding a residency at the renowned London club Fabric. Building on their success and with a catalogue of releases on respected labels like Houndstooth, Mord, Metempsychosis, and Abyss, Tapefeed took a bold step in 2021 by launching their imprint, "Inveterate." This platform is dedicated to honing in on the duo's quintessential sound and vision. "Inveterate" extends an invitation to producers to defy conventions, encouraging them to explore the fringes and limits of their artistic expressions. The label's mission is to expand the boundaries of techno, infusing it with fresh, anarchic, and unexpected elements.
