- Tasha Safari - techno DJ and producer originally from Azerbaijan. Based in Berlin.Originally from the small city of Ganja, Azerbaijan, Tasha Safari's musical journey embarked on a vibrant exploration of Azerbaijani culture. Growing up in a nation renowned for blending Eastern and Western influences, she immersed herself in a diverse soundscape, ranging from traditional Azerbaijani music to the echoes of psychedelic rock and post-punk, seamlessly woven into the rhythmic beats of folk instruments and the emotive melodies of mugham. Enveloped by beats and groundbreaking sounds from an early age, Tasha Safari showcased a natural aptitude for music. Her fascination with electronic instruments and an insatiable thirst for rhythm and melody led her to experiment with synthesizers and drum machines. As she launched her DJ career, Tasha Safari initially delved into hip-hop, effortlessly merging it with electronic music. In her pursuit of a distinctive sound, she continuously experimented with different music genres. Her sets are characterized by hypnotic and groovy rhythms, expertly weaving together diverse subgenres of techno, guiding audiences through an exploration of the electronic sonic landscape. Over the years, Tasha has graced numerous venues across Europe and CIS countries, collaborating with artists globally, enriching her sonic palette. A recent collaboration to watch out for is the upcoming 2024 release of "Bel Fort & Tasha Safari: Disorder EP." Currently, she is deeply immersed in a collaboration with Alessandro Adriani of Mannequin Records, embarking on an innovative techno project. Together, they are crafting a cutting-edge album and gearing up for an emphasis on live performances.
