- Recording artist on Nottingham label Wigflex, and resident for the Wigflex club night. Thanks on stopping by. x25 year-old producer Adam Taylor (AKA Taylor) carves out a distinct brand of colourful electronic music. His rangy synths, rhythmic bleeps and lush soundscapes create a consistently rich sound palette. Nottingham-bred, Manchester-based, Taylor’s skill lies largely in his ability to produce complex and harmonically developed music within a genre so reliant on repetition and four-to-the-floor rhythms. Musical life for Taylor began with the guitar, playing though classical grades from a young age. Becoming more creative with the instrument in his teens he formed a post-rock group, and set about writing epic instrumentals with intricate, mutating melodic passages. This aspect of song-writing is definitely present in his current guise. Taylor appeared on the first 3 releases for Spam Chop's burgeoning Wigflex collective, releasing alonside Geiom & Shortstuff in the process.
