Being raised in Cologne, the hometown of Cosmic Gate, it was only a matter of time until he started listening to Trance & Progressive. In December 2012 TEKNO signed his first single ‘Save Our Souls Anthem’ on High Contrast Recordings, being featured on the ‘High Contrast presents Dennis Sheperd’ compilation. In August 2013 the single-release of the Save Our Souls Anthem hit the stores including a fantastic remix by Aerofoil. The Anthem consequently received amazing support by No.1 DJ Armin van Buuren, Rank1, Lange, tyDi, RAM, Cold Blue and even Coldharbour-founder Markus Schulz. After 4 years of hosting his Save Our Souls event-brand and bookings at the famous Nature One Festival, Trance.Mission, So Get Up with Cosmic Gate, as well as headlining Trance in Düsseldorf’s first edition, it seems clear that TEKNO knows his way of mixing very well. In 2014 TEKNO started an unique festival concept in co-operation with HeavensGate, Save Our Souls, Trance.Mission, #TranceFamily Germany and Spirit of the 90s. The LEGENDARY Festival featured more than 30 DJs on 4 Areas and was broadcasted live across the world via Afterhours.fm. Few months later, LEGENDARY strikes back and hosts a club-event with Markus Schulz & Alex M.O.R.P.H. as well as a LEGENDARY stage at the famous NATURE ONE Festival. Feeling it was time for a change as things got a whole lot bigger over the years, a new brand was born – AWAKE, which is already a name to look out for in the Trance Scene with the comeback of ATB & Markus Schulz as well as headliners such as the Trance Gods Aly & Fila, Ferry Corsten, Mark Sixma, Paul van Dyk and Above & Beyond sharing the stage with TEKNO in the DJ MAG #8 (2019) Bootshaus in Cologne. The last years have been fantastic ones for TEKNO, spinning at several AWAKE events and releasing own productions which have been elected as 'Track of the Month' by the legendary German duo Kyau & Albert, 'Masterpiece of the Month' by Alex M.O.R.P.H. and earned the prestigious title of 'Future Sound' on Aly & Fila’s FSOE radio show. Moreover TEKNO’s tunes have been supported by artists such as Andrew Rayel, Armin van Buuren, Artento Divini, Eximinds, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, Photographer, Roman Messer and many more. 2019 has already been an historical year for TEKNO, together with his partner in crime DJ T.H. he founded Entrancing Energized, a sub-label of Entrancing Music focused on energetic and powerful sounds that will shake the dancefloor. Since they founded the label, TEKNO’s releases already earned the support of the Trance Legends Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Paul van Dyk. Currently, TEKNO is heading back to the studio where his best tracks up to date are being made, a set of new mashups to rock your dancefloor and fresh new collaborations are in the works. Watch out for 'The King of Mashups' (as Aerofoil named him) because TEKNO’s energy-filled sets stand out due to an intense amount of long-forgotten classic tunes revived by self-produced mashups and bootlegs.
