- NYC Producer / DJ [House/Techno/Electronic]Tenant did not discover Acid House at a legendary warehouse party in the UK. Nor did he grow up in Detroit or Chicago. He hasn't held down a residency at a super club and he has not opened for a who’s who of the world's top 100 DJs. Perhaps it's sad that he never stumbled upon his parent’s record collection at an early age; didn't learn to mix with 45s and an 8 track, or buy his first drum machine at the age of 10. He did have a Casio keyboard though. However, Tenant was born in NY, schooled by the colorful music & art scene. Not huge on hype or big words and never really got involved in cliques or scenes. Tenant is just a lone individual that's deeply passionate about music and its creation. Some people may perceive his introversion as arrogance, but really, he’s just the shy guy at the back of the room, bobbing his head, getting inspired, and taking that back to the studio. To date, he's spent over a decade behind the scenes: as a DJ, record distribution, and small time promoter. Sapped by the business-end of the industry, he recently took a step back to focus on his art. Tenant is the resulting product of that time, experience and creativity. Enjoy!
